Palm Springs Youth Training Orchestra

Join Maestro Nunzio Sisto for an enjoyable and educational youth orchestra experience this 2021 season.
Based on his training at the Juilliard School's Pre-College division, the YTO Pre-College Program is an advanced program that will put any student on the trajectory for success.
The YTO Pre-College Program includes:
Private Lessons:
Provided through our partner The Music School, Palm Springs.
(not required for students currently studying with a private teacher)
Online Classes:
Ear Training/Theory
-Students learn to hear music in its parts, and how it's put together.
Composition/Arranging
-Students write their own arrangements to be played by YTO.
Group Instruction (COVID PENDING):
Orchestral Performance Class
-Students learn to play in an ensemble.

Applicants are required to send three short videos demonstrating their instrumental ability to admin@ytooa.org.
Round Two
Applicants invited to Round Two will be notified after their video audition has been adjudicated.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Merit Based Scholarships are available for every position.
No Student will be turned away for inability to afford tuition*
